  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Manage MRP Action Messages

Use the Manage MRP Action Messages screen to view and perform certain functions with MRP messages generated during the Update Material Requirements Plan process.

Enter values in the header screen to filter the list of messages you receive in the main grid. The MPS Plan code and Project Option fields are required. You may enter values in the other header screen fields if you want to filter your results by those values. Click to display the messages in the main table window. These messages can include both planned order and exception messages.

If you select an MPS Plan of P (Production), you can select planned order messages for firming or releasing. For action messages that reference firmed orders, you can also implement some action message types that suggest modifications to the referenced order (such as cancel order, decrease quantity, and reschedule messages). You can also make modifications or cancel referenced firmed orders, if allowed by the selections on the Configure Material Requirements Planning Settings screen.

MRP action messages generated for a "what-if" MPS plan code (any code other than P) cannot be selected, implemented, or modified.
