Unlock a Style Guide for Editing

As an administrator or an author, unlock a style guide to allow other users to edit its formatting settings. This enables your firm to collaborate on a given style requirement.

To unlock a style guide for editing:

1. For a given project, open the Format page for style guides.
2. On the Style Guides tab of the Format page, hover over a locked style guide that you want to unlock.
   Note:

   • Locked style guides display a red lock icon ().
   • If you are an author, you can unlock only style guides that you created.
3. On the style guide, click .
   Other users can now modify the document and formatting settings of the style guide.
