Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Lock Editing for Style Guides and Header and Footer Templates

Use this feature to lock style guides and header and footer templates and restrict other users from editing these to prevent inconsistencies and unexpected changes.

Locking these elements to only authorized users helps project teams enforce branding and formatting rules across documents. For style guides, you can configure lock edit settings on the Style Guides tab of the Format page. For header and footer templates, you can configure lock edit settings on the Header and Footers tab. The following options for managing the lock edit settings are available:
  • : Locked indicator
  • : Lock guide or template
  • : Unlock guide or template

Permissions

When using the lock editing feature, the following permissions apply:

Only the creator of a given style guide or header and footer template can lock and unlock the guide or template. However, administrators have override access.
