The Employee Group Setting tab on the Employee Group form is used to assign settings to Employee Groups with type FACILITY or POLICY_GROUP. For example, you may want to assign a specific date pattern or Clock Policy to the group.
If no settings have been assigned to a group, each member's Employee Setting values apply. If no person settings have been configured, the System Settings values apply. For details, see Settings Precedence.

Setting Type
Name of the setting. See Setting Types for more information.
Setting Value
Value of the setting (e.g., the name of the policy or the format for the date pattern).
Start Date, End Date
Dates that the Setting Type and Setting Value are assigned to the FACILITY or POLICY_GROUP.
Update Date, Updated By
These fields display when the record was created or updated, and the person who created or updated the record.
Click Main Menu > Employee Management > Employee Group.
Select the Employee Group record that you want to view.
Click the Employee Group Setting tab on the lower half of the form.
Click Find.
The existing person Group Setting records appear. By default, they are sorted by date of creation, with the latest listed on top of the form.
Click Main Menu > Employee Management > Employee Group.
Select the Employee Group record that you want to add a group setting to. The Employee Group must be of type FACILITY or POLICY_GROUP.
Click the Employee Group Setting tab on the lower half of the form.
Click Add.
Select a Setting Type and a Setting Value.
Select a Start Date on which this setting begins. The default date is the current date.
Select an End Date. The default date is 2100-02-01.
Click Save.
Click Main Menu > Employee Management > Employee Group.
Select the Employee Group record that you want to copy values from. The Employee Group must be of type FACILITY or POLICY_GROUP.
Click the Employee Group Setting tab on the lower half of the form.
Select the record you want to copy values from and click Copy.
You can modify the Setting Type, Setting Value, Start Date, and End Date.
Click Save.
Click Main Menu > Employee Management > Employee Group.
Select the Employee Group record that contains the group setting you want to modify. The Employee Group must be of type FACILITY or POLICY_GROUP.
Click the Employee Group Setting tab on the lower half of the form.
Select the group setting record you want to modify and click Modify.
You can modify the Setting Value, Start Date, and End Date.
Click Save.
Click Main Menu > Employee Management > Employee Group.
Select the Employee Group record that contains the group setting you want to delete.
Click the Employee Group Setting tab on the lower half of the form.
Select the group setting record you want to delete.
Click Delete.
Click OK to confirm the action.
