Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Record-level Security for Billing Groups

If your security role is configured to use record-level security, certain rules apply to billing groups.

The following applies if your role has Billing selected under Apply Project Access To on the Record Access tab in Settings > Security > Roles:

  • You can access all projects to which your role has access rights.
  • If the Sub-Projects in Billing Groups option is selected, Vantagepoint lets you add any project to which you have access as a sub-project in the billing group.
  • If the Sub-Projects in Billing Groups option is not selected, Vantagepoint does not check your access rights when adding sub-projects.
  • When you attempt to select a main project or add a sub-project to which you lack access, Vantagepoint displays a message to indicate that the project does not exist.
