Fields and Options
These help topics provide descriptions of individual fields and options in the different hubs.

Some hubs provide the option to view information in either a Detail view or List view. - Actions Bar
Use the options on the Actions bar to perform actions that apply to the current hub and record. The options that display depend on the active hub and the type of view, Detail or List, that is in use. - Hubs Tabs
Tabs help you organize the information that you enter for each record. Each tab contains data entry fields or data grids for the selected record. - Hubs Grids
Some tabs contain grids of closely related data. You use grids to enter (insert) and update data and to group relevant data. - Hubs Fields
Use fields to enter data for a record. Some data entry fields require that you manually enter data, while others contain icons that allow you to perform functions. - Hub Dialog Box
This dialog box enables you to add hub records on the fly through supported lookup fields found in different forms throughout Vantagepoint. This allows you to create hub records without the need to go to the Hubs area in the Navigation Pane. - Export List View Dialog Box
Use this dialog box to export Vantagepoint grid data from the list view to a comma-separated values (.csv) file or Excel file. - Add Touchpoint Dialog Box
A touchpoint is a simple activity, such as a meeting or phone call, that occurs when you touch with a client. When working in many of the hubs, you can add touchpoints for the active record. These touchpoints will then be associated with the record on the Activities tab for that hub. Use the Add Touchpoint dialog box to add a new touchpoint. After you save the touchpoint, you can view it and make changes to it on the Activities tab in the associated hub. - Hubs Files and Links Tab
Some hubs include a Files and Links tab that you use to upload, view, and store documents that are related to the current hub record. You can also add links to external text files, graphics files, or email messages. - Update Image Dialog Box
You can upload an image for any hub that displays an image for the selected record (for example, a firm logo or a contact photograph). You can upload a personal photograph or other image to display on the My Preferences dialog box. You can also select an image from the library of images supplied with Vantagepoint. If you do not assign an image, Vantagepoint uses a default image.
