Group Transactions

You can group transactions and then modify or post them all at the same time.

You assign a filename to a group of transactions in the New File dialog box. When you open a transaction file, you can search the individual transactions within the file by using the search box at the top of the page or click or to page through the transactions.

To group transactions:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select Settings > Accounting > Transactions.
  2. Set Use Files to Group Transactions to Yes.
  3. Click Save.
Important: If you do not want to group transactions anymore, you need to post all transaction files before changing the value of Use Files to Group Transaction to No. If you do not do so, Vantagepoint will delete all posted and recurring transaction entry files.
