Associate a Document with All Existing Transactions Lines

You can associate a document with all existing transaction line items for the transaction record that you are working on without the need to do it one transaction line item at a time.

Prerequisites: Select a transaction file to view or edit and click the or in the Document column.

If you use the Vantagepoint on-premises product, the Supporting Document dialog box displays only if Transaction Document Management is configured. For more information, see the Supporting Documents and Files online help topic.

To automatically associate a document with all transaction line items:

  1. On the Supporting Document dialog box, select the document that you want to associate with all existing transactions lines for the open transaction record.
  2. Hover the cursor at the end of the row of the transaction entry, and select Options > Attach to all existing lines.
  3. Click OK.
