Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Document Properties Pane

Use this pane to define the properties for the proposal document.
Field Description
Paper Size Select the size of the document pages, such as Letter or Legal.
Width/Height The width and heigh automatically update based on the selected paper size and unit of measure.
Page Orientation Select the page layout orientation.
Margins Enter the margins for the top, bottom, left, and right sides of the page. Use the unit of measure (inches or millimeters) that you entered in the Unit of Measure field on this tab. If your unit of measure is inches, use decimals for fractions of an inch (for example, 0.75 or 1.20).
Unit of Measure

Select the unit of measure, inches or millimeters, to use for the margin and dimension measurement fields on the Page Properties settings. When you switch from one unit of measure to the other, the measurements that are currently entered or displayed in the measurement fields are automatically converted to the new unit of measure (1 inch = 25.4 millimeter).

Headers and Footers Use headers and footers when adding a title, page numbers, or other information to every page in the document. Headers display at the top of the page and footers at the bottom.
Alternate on Even/Odd Pages By default, the headers and footers are the same on each page. For some proposals, you may want the odd and even pages to alternate headers and footers. This is particularly useful with page numbering.
Unit of Measurement Specify the unit of measurement to apply to the header and footer, inches or millimeters.
