Contents of the Sort Options Dialog Box

Use the grid on this dialog box to define how the records are ordered in an export file.

In the sort options grid, add a column from the data export definition, and select whether to sort the records in the export file by ascending or descending order of the value in the column.

Field Description
Column This displays the column name that you selected when you clicked + Select Columns.
Sort In Choose whether to sort by the ascending or descending value in the column. This applies for both numeric and alphabetical columns.
+ Select Columns Click this option to add rows to the grid for each column for which you want to define a sorting order. This opens the Select Columns for Sorting dialog box, on which you can select one or more columns.
