Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Change the Active Company (Desktop)

If Vantagepoint is set up to use multiple companies and if your security role gives you access to more than one company, you can switch to a different company after you log on to the Vantagepoint desktop application.

You can also change companies in the browser application by selecting the company on the main Vantagepoint toolbar.

To change companies:

  1. On the Navigation menu, click Utilities > Change Company.
  2. On the Company Selection dialog box, select the company.
  3. If you want Vantagepoint to open your home company by default when you log on, select the Automatically default to my home company at startup option.

    If you select this option, you are not prompted to select the company at startup but you can still select a different company after you log on.

  4. Click OK.
