  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the VAT Registration Form

Use the VAT Registration form to configure the subscription license for Vantagepoint to use the vatlayer API system to validate European Union VAT numbers.

When vatlayer registration is configured, you can enter a Tax Registration Number and Tax Country for each firm address that is entered in the Firms Hub. You can also select the Validate Tax Registration Number option to validate the firm's tax registration number with the Belgian VAT Desk. If invalid, an error message displays.

Field Description
VAT API KEY Enter the API access key that is required to validate firm tax registration numbers with the vatlayer API system. This key is provided by vatlayer, saved in Vantagepoint, and used to make validation calls on behalf of the user.
