Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Project Workspace

Use the project workspace to build out, organize, and edit your project specifications. Specpoint provides two workspace experiences, the new workspace and the classic workspace, to support different workflows and preferences.

Both versions of the project workspace enable you to add, manage, review, and edit assemblies, families, product types, and their content items in a structured environment. The following workspaces are available:

  • New Workspace: Use the new workspace to work on project elements and their contents in a simplified, modern interface. The new workspace centralizes commonly used tools and organizes content to reflect how sections display in previews and exported files.
  • Classic Workspace: Use the classic workspace to work on project specifications in a familiar, pane-based layout. The classic workspace provides full access to project elements, content items, project properties, and track changes, and supports detailed content editing using established workflows.

Switching Between Workspaces

You can switch between the new workspace and the classic workspace at any time while working on a project. Both workspaces retain and reflect all edits made in either view.
