Modify a BPM Account

As a Deltek onboarder, modify an existing building product manufacturer account or reseller firm to update account and contact information.

To modify a BPM account:

  1. On the navigation menu, click Accounts.
  2. On the Company Account Settings page, search for the account record that you want to edit.
    You can use the filter fields under each header to search for an account. For more information, see Filter Account List.
  3. In the row of the account record, click > Edit.
  4. On the Account Setup page, in the Account Name field, enter the unique company name of the BPM.
  5. In the Account Type field, select Building Product Manufacturer.
  6. In the Phone Number field, select a country number format and enter the registered phone number of the account.
  7. In the First Name field, enter the first name of the primary contact person of the account.
  8. In the Last Name field, enter the last name of the primary contact person.
  9. In the Contact Email field, enter the email address of the primary contact person.
  10. In the Account Number field, enter the unique account number of the BPM.
  11. In the Subscription Expiration Date field, select the date when the account's license for Specpoint expires.
  12. In the User Limit field, enter the maximum number of users allotted for the account based on the customer's purchase.
    Note: For the User Limit field, you can only update the limit to a value greater than or equal to the account's current In Use count.
  13. In the Display Name field, enter the unique display name of the account.
  14. In the Status field, select whether the account is Active or Inactive.
  15. In the Deltek Rep field, select the Deltek representative assigned to the account.
  16. For non-reseller BPM firms, manage its reseller settings:
    • To maintain the account as a non-reseller BPM firm, leave the Is Reseller option blank
    • To update its assigned reseller firm, in the Reseller field, select a reseller firm.
    • To set the account as a reseller, select the Is Reseller option.
      Warning: This action is irreversible. When you save an account as a reseller, you can no longer modify this setting.
  17. To hide the industry analytics module from the BPM, select the Hide Industry Analytics option. To make industry analytics available, clear this option.
  18. Click Save.
