Add a Guest User to a BPM

As a Deltek onboarder, add a user from outside the BPM as a guest user to enable that user to work in a special role such as a consultant for specific projects.

Warning: The guest user will have the role of designated account administrator for the BPM. Coordinate with the BPM to ensure that they immediately update the guest user's permission, discipline, and professional role.

To add a guest user to a BPM:

  1. On the navigation menu, click Accounts.
  2. On the Company Account Settings page, search for the BPM record for which to add a guest user.
    You can use the filter fields under each header to search for an account. For more information, see Filter Account List.
  3. In the row of the account record, click > Edit.
  4. On the Account Setup page, under Designate Account Admin, clear the Same as above option.
  5. In the First Name field, enter the first name of the guest user.
  6. In the Last Name field, enter the last name of the guest user.
  7. In the Company Contact Email for Support field, enter the email address that the guest user from another BPM or from Deltek already uses.
  8. Click Save.
