Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Project Manufacturers Window

Use this window to view the listed and specified manufacturers for a given family and gain insight into the products that design professionals selected for their A/E firm's project.

This window lists the available manufacturers or products for a family as well as if the A/E firm specified the product in their project's family. This feature enables you to analyze the products specified in the family, if any, against all the other listed products from other manufacturers.

In the Project Manufacturers window, you can also use the FAMILY DETAIL list to preview project content. For e-SPECS projects, this list displays the included articles and paragraphs. For Specpoint projects, this list displays the included articles, paragraph title/keys, and the paragraphs' selected values (mainly of product type properties) on the Products part or tab. Use this list to examine how the project designers make property choices and product decisions.
