Contents of the Grouping and Sorting Window

Use the contents of this window to sort the product listings on the Product Listings page.

Navigate to the following contents:

• Grouping Tab
• Sorting Tab

General Options

The following general options are available in this window:

Option	Description
Grouping	Click this tab to display the options on the Grouping tab.
Sorting	Click this tab to display the options on the Sorting tab.
Cancel	Click this option to close the window and discard the sorting and grouping criteria that you set.
Apply	Click this option to close the window and apply the sorting and grouping criteria that you set to the product listings on the Product Listings page. This option saves your sorting and grouping criteria.

Grouping Tab

On this tab, the following items are available:

Item	Description
Grouping Criteria	This lists grouping criteria that you create and apply to the product listings. By default, the Product Listings page has the following grouping criteria: Level Product Listing Attribute Collapsed FIRST GROUPING Family No SECOND GROUPING Product type No
+Add Grouping	This option is available only if you configured all the larger groupings and you currently have less than three groupings. Click this button to create a new grouping criterion at the end of the list. When you create a grouping criterion, Specpoint creates a sorting criterion on the Sorting tab with the same selected product listing attribute and at the same order level as the grouping criterion.

Grouping Criteria

The following options are available for each grouping criterion in the list:

Field or Option	Description
FIRST GROUPING, SECOND GROUPING, and THIRD GROUPING.	Select the product listing attribute by which to group the product listings. The following options are available: None Company Listing type Family Product type State Publish date Status In this field, options that you have already selected in another grouping criterion are unavailable. Note: For Product type, the ascending order is Premium MasterSpec, Premium, Premium Proprietary, and Manufacturer.
COLLAPSED	Select this option to collapse the group and hide the group's child groups (if any) and product listings. Otherwise, leave blank. If you collapse the first grouping and the available product listings based on your filters are more than 200, the last group of the first grouping displays expanded.
X	Delete the grouping criterion. When you delete a grouping criterion, Specpoint deletes the grouping criterion's equivalent sorting criterion on the Sorting tab.

Sorting Tab

On this tab, the following options are available:

Item	Description
Sorting Criteria	This lists of sorting criteria that you create and apply to the product listings. By default, the Product Listings page has the following sorting criteria: Level Options Sort 1 Family Ascending 2 Product type Ascending 3 Listing type Ascending 4 Publish date Descending This list also includes sorting criteria that Specpoint automatically added for equivalent grouping criteria. For these sorting criteria, the following actions are unavailable: Delete (X) Change product listing attribute (SORT) Reorder ()
+Add Sorting	Click this button to create a new sorting criterion at the end of the list.

Sorting Criteria

The following options are available for each sorting criterion in the list.

Field or Option	Description
Grip Icon	Drag and drop this icon to move or reorder the sorting criterion to the desired position.
OPTIONS	Select the product listing attribute by which to sort the product listings. The following options are available: None Company Listing type Family Product type State Publish date Status The default value is None. In this field, options that you have already selected in another sorting criterion or used in a grouping criterion are unavailable.
SORT	Select the order by which to sort the product listings. The following orders are available: Ascending Descending
X	Delete the sorting criterion.
