Permissions Acumen Touchstone Tab

This tab controls the default permissions that allow users to access options within Acumen Touchstone.

Each item in this list roughly correlates to a menu item or a process within a view. You can select the parent and child permissions on this tab individually. However, if the parent has been disabled and one of the children has been enabled, the parent permission is automatically reset to Enabled.

By default, the Visible and Enabled permissions are assigned to each group for the following items:

HUBS This item controls the Hubs menu in Acument Touchstone.
  • Programs — Enabling this item allows users and group members assigned the role being edited to use the Programs hub, allowing you to view details about programs and perform related tasks (for example, adding and deleting programs).
  • Projects — Enabling this item allows users and group member assigned the role being edited to use the Projects hub, allowing you to view details about projects and perform related tasks (for example, moving a project to a different program).
    • If you delete a user (where user Manager is assigned) in EPM SA, the Manager field is replaced by the assigned Manager of the deleted user.
    • If you delete user (where user Manager is not assigned but Alternate Manager is assigned), the Manager field is replaced by the assigned Alternate Manager of the deleted user.
    • If you delete a user (where user Manager and Alternate Manager is not assigned), the Manager field becomes NULL or blank.
  • Submittals — Enabling this item allows users and group member assigned the role being edited to use the Submittals hub, allowing you to upload your schedule, view the period end date, and see the status of an uploaded schedule
TEMPLATES This item controls the Templates menu.
  • Field Mapings — Enabling this item allows users and group members assigned the role being edited to use the Field Mappings feature, allowing you to map schedule fields to Touchstone fields.
  • Acceptance Criteria — Enabling this item allows users and group member assigned the role being edited to use the Acceptance Criteria feature, allowing you to configure acceptance criteria for schedule analysis.
SETTINGS

This item controls the Settings menu.

  • General — Enabling this item allows users and group members assigned the role being edited to use the General settings, allowing you to configure communications settings.
  • Benchmark Attributes — Enabling this item allows users and group member assigned the role being edited to use the Benchmark Attributes settings, allowing you to configure qualitative measures of success for the project that are used in benchmark reporting.
  • Metrics — Enabling this item allows users and group member assigned the role being edited to use the Metrics settings, allowing yo to configure the metrics and variable fields used to evaluate the schedules.
