Remove a User from a License

Use this procedure to remove or unassign a user from an existing license.

To remove or unassign a user from a license:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select SECURITY > Licenses.
    By default, Licenses Detail View displays.
  2. At the upper portion of the form, click to switch to the Licenses List View.
  3. On the Licenses List View, select the license that you want to update.
  4. Take one of the following actions:
    • On the Licenses List View, in the ASSIGNED USERS column, click the number. Alternatively, you can click and select Assign Users.
    • On the Licenses Detail View (which you can access by clicking ), in the Assigned Users field, click the number.
  5. In the Assign Users dialog box, in the Assigned Users grid, select the user or users that you want to remove from the license and click Remove.
  6. When you are done, click Save.
