People Planner Integration with Maconomy
Relevant data passes from Maconomy to People Planner and vice-versa to ensure continuity in the resourcing workflow. Shared data elements can be thought of as falling under two high-level categories: Master (system) Data and Transactional Data.
Master Data uses Maconomy as the system of record where information related to all key Maconomy entities, including Maconomy Dimensions, are transferred from Maconomy to People Planner. This occurs initially upon setup, behind the scenes on a nightly basis, and in real time when required to support the above transactional workflows. Master Data transfer includes Companies and Departments, Customers, Projects, Budgets and Tasks, Absence and Actuals (Time Registrations), and Employee and User information.
Transactional Data flows between the two systems upon a user invoking one of two related actions such as sending a job to People Planner or updating Resource Allocations from People Planner to Maconomy.
