Opportunity Plan Structure

If the Resource Planning application is activated, you can set up resource plans for opportunities. Use the Opportunity Plan Structure form to set up a work breakdown structure (WBS) for opportunities for which you want to do resource planning. If the CRM application is not activated, you also use this form to add the opportunity records for which you do planning.

This application is not available if either of the following are true:
  • The Resource Planning application is not activated.
  • The CRM application and the Resource Planning application are activated, but Deltek is set up with a one-level work breakdown structure (WBS). In that case, you add opportunities in the Opportunities hub and use Project Review to enter resource planning information at the opportunity level. (If the CRM application is not activated and you have a one-level WBS, the Opportunity Plan Structure form is available so you can add opportunities, but you cannot use it to add levels to the structure.)
