Use this screen to view extensive information for all requisitions entered in the Materials domain. The data in this screen is both specific and voluminous, enabling you to trace the history of requisitions while viewing comprehensive requisition detail.
All of the fields in the table window and subtasks are non-editable; however, you can enter data in the header section of the primary screen. The Requisition, Requisitioner, Requisitioner Org, Project, and Project Selection Criteria fields are editable; in addition, you can select one or more checkboxes from the Select Requisition Status group box to further narrow or broaden your search.
Once you have specified the conditions of your record selection, you must select the Execute icon to retrieve records.
This screen displays several subtasks and table windows. You can use the subtasks as follows:
Use the Req Hdr Text subtask to view requisition header information. Generally, this text includes special instructions for the buyers and is used internally.
Use the Req Hdr Approval subtask to view requisition approval information.
Use the Req Lines subtask to view requisition details.
Use the RFQs subtasks to view vendor quote information; the data in this subtask is useful only if you add, edit, or view records in the Vendor Quotes screens (Materials\Transactions\Vendor Quotes).
You can use this screen to view comprehensive requisition information, as needed.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, up to 10 alphanumeric characters to identify the requisition.
The requisition ID is a unique alphanumeric combination used to identify the requisition. This alphanumeric combination is used throughout Costpoint.
You must select the Execute icon to retrieve records.
The table window displays records that satisfy your selection criteria.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, up to 12 alphanumeric characters to designate the employee ID of the requisitioner. The employee name displays in the adjacent, non-editable field.
The data available in the Lookup originates from the Employee User Flow screen (People\Maintain\Employee).
If you have not selected a requisition ID, you can search the data by requisitioner name. You cannot enter data in both fields and successfully perform a search.
You must select the Execute icon to retrieve records.
The table window displays records that satisfy your selection criteria.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, up to 20 alphanumeric characters to designate the organization ID.
The data available in the Lookup originates from the Organization Elements screen (Accounting\Maintain\Organizations).
If you have not entered a requisition number, you can search the data by requisitioner organization.
You must select the Execute icon to retrieve records.
The table window displays records that satisfy your selection criteria.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, up to 30 alphanumeric characters to identify the project ID.
The data available in the Lookup originates from the Project User Flow screen (Projects\Maintain\Project).
You can also enter the beginning of a project ID in order to search for the requisition information. For example, if you enter "1.005," the system can retrieve all records containing project numbers that begin with this sequence; the system can also retrieve records with project numbers that match this sequence, exactly.
For instance, once this field is populated, the Project Selection Criteria field becomes active/enabled. You can enter a partial project ID, then select the "Begins With" or "Exact Match" option from the drop-down box.
You must select the Execute icon to retrieve records.
The table window displays records that satisfy your selection criteria.
Select one of two options in this group box after populating the Project field.
Begins With - Select this option to have the system search for requisitions that contain a project ID beginning with the values in the Project field.
Exact Match - Select this option to have the system search for requisitions that contain the project ID exactly as it appears in the Project field.
Use this group box to narrow your search by specifying additional conditions, based on the status of the requisition.
In order to use this option, you must select the appropriate checkbox, then select the Execute icon to retrieve records.
Select this checkbox to include "P" (Pending) requisitions in the inquiry.
This status indicates the requisition is being modified by the requisitioner. This status will exist until the requisitioner submits the requisition for approval or freezes it from further changes if no approvals are required.
Select this checkbox to include "I" (In Approval) requisitions in the inquiry.
This status indicates the requisition has been submitted for approval and is in the process of being reviewed for approval.
Select this checkbox to include "A" (Approved) requisitions in the inquiry.
This status indicates the requisition has been approved and can be processed into a purchase order in the Process Purchase Requisitions screen (Materials\Transactions\Purchase Requisitions).
Select this checkbox to include "R" (Rejected) requisitions in the inquiry.
This status indicates the requisition has been rejected during the approval process or rejected by a buyer in the Process Purchase Requisitions screen (Materials\Transactions\Purchase Requisitions). A requisition with this status can be corrected and resubmitted for approval.
Select this checkbox to include "C" (Complete/Closed) requisitions in the inquiry.
This status indicates a requisition has been closed by the buyer. This status may represent a requisition that has been partially converted into a purchase order; it may also represent the status of a requisition that has been cancelled prior to purchase order creation.
Select this checkbox to include "G" (Generated) requisitions in the inquiry.
This status indicates a purchase order has been created from this requisition. A requisition with this status cannot be modified.
Select this checkbox to include "V" (Voided) requisitions in the inquiry.
This status indicates the requisition has been voided and no further processing may occur.
This field displays the requisition ID.
The requisition ID is a unique alphanumeric combination used to identify the requisition. This alphanumeric combination is used throughout Costpoint to identify or reference the requisition.
This non-editable field tracks the number of times the requisition status shifts from an "R" (Rejected) to "P" (Pending) status.
When a requisition or requisition line has been rejected, the requisitioner can edit and save the requisition, thereby resetting the requisition status to "P" (Pending) and incrementing the revision number by one.
This field displays the line status.
System-defined status types include:
P - Pending. This status indicates the requisition is being modified by the requisitioner. This status will exists until the requisitioner submits the requisition for approval or freezes it from further changes, if no approvals are required.
I - In-Approval. This status indicates the requisition has been submitted for approval and is in the process of being reviewed.
V - Void. This status indicates the requisition has been voided and no further processing may occur.
A - Approved. This status indicates the requisition has been approved and can be processed into a purchase order in the Process Purchase Requisitions screen (Materials\Transactions\Purchase Requisitions).

G - PO Generated. This status indicates a purchase order has been created from this requisition. A requisition with this status cannot be modified.
C- Closed. This status indicates a requisition has been closed by the buyer. This status may represent a requisition that has been partially converted into a purchase order; it may also represent the status of a requisition that has been cancelled prior to purchase order creation.
This field displays the system date which represents the date the requisition was created.
This field displays the employee ID of the requisitioner.
This field displays the employee name.
This field displays a requisitioner organization ID.
This field displays the organization name.
This field displays the transaction currency code assigned to the requisition. All monetary amounts in this screen are displayed in the transaction currency, unless otherwise denoted by "Func Curr" or "Func Currency" (functional currency) references; the "Func Curr" and "Func Currency" represent the functional currency amounts.
The transaction currency represents the currency specified on an invoice, while the functional currency represents your company's primary or base currency.
This field displays the total dollar amount associated with the requisition.
The value in this field is equivalent to the value in the Total Est Cost Amt field (in transaction currency) in the Currency Line subtask of the Enter Purchase Requisitions screen (Materials\Transactions\Purchase Requisitions).
This field displays the requisition's total amount in the functional currency.
The functional currency represents your company's primary or base currency.
This field displays the buyer ID, if one buyer was selected to process all of the lines of a requisition. This data originates from the Buyers screen (Materials\Configure\Purchasing).
If this field is blank, multiple buyers may have been assigned to process the lines of this requisition. In this circumstance, you can view the list of multiple buyers in the Req Lines subtask which displays in the primary screen of this application . A blank field may also indicate that the buyer has not been assigned to the requisition.
This field displays the buyer name.
This field displays the approval process that this requisition undergoes if requisitions are approved at the header level, based on your configuration settings in the Requisition Settings screen (Administration\Configure\Materials).
If this field is blank, requisition approvals are not required or approvals are performed at the line level. In this case, you can view approval process details in the Req Lines subtask which displays in the primary screen of this application.
This field displays a procurement type code, if one code was assigned to all of the requisition lines.
If this field is blank, either no procurement type code was assigned to the requisition lines, or unique procurement type codes were assigned for each line. In this case, you can view the procurement codes in the Req Lines subtask which displays in the primary screen of this application.
The procurement type code represents the reason your company has selected a specific vendor from which to purchase the part, good, or service.
"CB" (Competitive Bid) and "SS" (Sole Source), for example, might represent procurement type codes.
This field displays the user ID of the employee who created the requisition.
This field indicates the print status of the requisition.
If "Y" (Yes) displays in this field, the requisition has been printed; otherwise, "N" (No) displays in this field.
This field displays the date on which the user logged into Costpoint to create the requisition. This information is determined based on the ID of the user.
This field indicates the "over-budget" status of the requisition.
If "Y" (Yes) displays in this field, the requisition is over-budgeted against its projected budget. An "N" (No) indicates the requisition is not over-budget.
If you did not select the Over Budget Validation checkbox in the Requisition Settings screen (Administration\Configure\Materials) for a particular requisition, this field will not display data.

This field displays the date on which this requisition was assigned to a buyer.
This field displays the date the buyer should anticipate the generation of the purchase order in order to receive the requisitioned item by the requested date.
Typically, this date is only relevant if the requisitioner has specified a preferred vendor; in this circumstance, this date is established based on the shipment and delivery lead times specified by the vendor.
This field displays notes or details pertinent to the requisition.
This information is used internally and does not print on the purchase order. This field also serves as a vehicle for the requisitioner to provide additional information to the buyer.
This field displays the telephone number of the requester.
This field displays the telephone extension of the requester.
This field displays the number of required vendor quotes, if applicable.
This field displays the reapproval code.
If "Y" (Yes) displays in this field, the requisition was submitted for reapproval at some point, while "N" (No) indicates that the requisition has not been submitted for approval.

Select this link to open the Req Hdr Approval subtask, where you can view approval information for the requisition. If you access this subtask and there is no data in the table window, the requisition did not require approval or your user ID is not assigned to the approval process. If approvals are performed at the line level, you can view them in the Req Ln Apprvl screen which is a subset of the Req Lines subtask.
