Use this subtask to view invoice and cash receipt detail for the selected invoice and customer. You can view all of the detailed activity information for an invoice and the payments made on that invoice. This detail is located in the AR_DETL_HS (AR Detail History) table, which is updated when you post bills and cash receipts. You can also view and initialize this detail in the Initialize A/R History screen (Accounting\Utilities\Transaction History).
All fields in this subtask are non-editable.
This screen has three subtasks: Cash Receipt Detail, Finance Info, and Exchange Rates.
You can view invoice and cash receipt detail at any time after posting. On the main screen, highlight the table window line containing the customer invoice for which you would like to see detail and select the Invoice Detail pushbutton.
This non-editable field displays the invoice number for the selected row from the main screen.
This field displays the customer account for the selected row from the main screen.
This field displays the customer name for the selected row from the main screen.
This non-editable field displays the invoice date that you entered in the manual billing screens or in the Calculate Bills/Calculate Progress Payment Bills (Projects\Process\Billing) screens on lines where the source code is a billing journal.
On cash receipt lines, the transaction date is the cash receipt date you entered in the Enter Cash Receipts screen (Accounting\Transactions\Cash Receipts).
This field displays the abbreviation of the transaction currency used for billing or cash receipts.
You set the billing currency by project in the Other Info tab of the Project Billing Information screen (Projects\Maintain\Billing).
You set the pay currency to be used when entering cash receipts in the Exchange Rates subtask of the Enter Cash Receipts screen (Accounting\Transactions\Cash Receipts).
You can initialize and maintain abbreviation names in the Currencies screen (Administration\Maintain\Multicurrency).
This non-editable field displays the fiscal year in which the invoice or cash receipt was posted. The system uses this information when calculating and aging receivables.

This non-editable field displays the period in which the invoice or cash receipt was posted. The system uses this information when calculating and aging receivables.
This non-editable field displays the subperiod in which the invoice or cash receipt was posted. The system uses this information when calculating and aging receivables.
This non-editable field displays the two-character ID of the journal from which this record was posted. The system updates this information when billings and cash receipts are posted.
Source codes for billing are BJ (Manual Billing Journal), BLJ (Standard Billing Journal), CPJ (Customer Product Billing Journal), MPJ (Milestone Percent Completed Billing Journal), OE (Sales Order Entry Invoice), PPJ (Project Product Billing Journal), or PRG (Progress Payment Journal).
The source code for cash receipts is CR.
This non-editable field displays the posting sequence of the journal from which this record was posted. The system updates this information when billings and cash receipts are posted.
This non-editable field displays the invoice date that you entered. If you do not enter a date, the system date is used.
Please note that the due date, rather than the invoice date, is used when calculating days outstanding.
This non-editable field displays the total amount of the receivable, as posted to the system or as entered into the Initialize A/R History screen (Accounting\Utilities\Transaction History) for this transaction.
This field is stated in the transaction currency of the customer.
This non-editable field displays the original discount offered to the project for the invoice shown. This field's total amount should match the amount stored in the Initialize A/R History screen (Accounting\Utilities\Transaction History) for this transaction.
This field is stated in the transaction currency of the customer.
This non-editable field displays the date you received payment for this invoice.
This non-editable field displays the amount of the payment received for this invoice.
This field is stated in the pay currency of the customer.
This field's total amount should match the amount stored in the Initialize A/R History screen (Accounting\Utilities\Transaction History) for this transaction.
This non-editable field displays the discount taken by the client in payment of this invoice. This field is stated in the pay currency of the customer.
This field's total amount should match the amount stored in the Initialize A/R History screen (Accounting\Utilities\Transaction History) for this transaction.
This field displays the check number that was recorded in payment of this invoice when you entered the cash receipt.
This field displays the adjustment amount that was written off using the Adjust A/R Underpayment Amounts screen (Accounting\Transactions\Cash Receipts.)
The adjustment amount is expressed in terms of the transaction currency of the customer and in the functional currency of the company.
The adjustment amount cannot be greater than the balance due amount.
This field displays the rate group code that is used for this customer's invoices and cash receipts.
Rate groups identify the transaction currency, pay currency, and exchange rates that are used to compute the functional currency amounts.
This field is used by delivery invoices for projects that bill using progress payments. It represents the total calculated amount of progress payments liquidated against the delivery invoice. Liquidation amounts are progress payments that have been paid by the customer. They reduce the delivery amount to arrive at the net invoice amount.
It is updated when delivery invoices are posted through the Enter Project Product Bills screen (Projects\Transactions\Billing) in or by DD250 invoice postings from Costpoint Sales Order Entry.
This field's total amount should match the amount stored in the Initialize A/R History screen (Accounting\Utilities\Transaction History) for this transaction.
This field initially displays a value that represents the liquidation taken when the cash is received. It should differ from the Liquidation Amount only when the payment of an invoice has been adjusted to reflect a different liquidation amount than invoiced.
This field is used by delivery invoices for projects that bill using progress payments.
This non-editable field displays the due date that is calculated when the invoice is posted, based on the terms of the customer. This date is used to age receivables.
This non-editable field displays the transaction description that you entered when initializing accounts receivable or entering cash receipts. If you do not change the transaction description when entering cash receipts, the account name will be used.
No transaction description will display for posted invoices.
This field displays the cash receipt number for the monies received.
The cash receipt number is assigned by the system when the cash receipt is saved and cannot be changed. You can view the last cash receipt assigned in the Set System Assigned Cash Receipt Number screen. The last assigned number can be changed in this screen so that when the next cash receipt is assigned in the same fiscal year/period/subperiod, the system will increment the last assigned number by one.
This non-editable field displays, in your company's functional currency, the total amount of the receivable as posted to the system or as entered into the Initialize A/R History screen (Accounting\Utilities\Transaction History) for this transaction.
This non-editable field displays, in your company's functional currency, the original discount offered to the project/customer for the invoice shown.
This field's total amount should match the amount stored in the Initialize A/R History screen (Accounting\Utilities\Transaction History) for this transaction.
This field displays the amount of cash received for this invoice expressed in terms of your company's currency.
This non-editable field displays, in your company's functional currency, the discount taken by the client in payment of this invoice. This field's total amount should match the amount stored in the Initialize A/R History screen (Accounting\Utilities\Transaction History) for this transaction.
This field displays the adjustment amount that was written off using the Adjust A/R Underpayment Amounts process (Accounting\Transactions\Cash Receipts).
