Use this screen to set up budgets for each org/account combination, by budget revision, fiscal year, and period. You can use this budget data on the balance sheet and/or income statement for comparison purposes.
You can set up these budgets after you have set up budget information in the Maintain Budget Revisions screen, and accounts in the Maintain Accounts screen. You must also have set up organizations in the Maintain Org Elements screen, and have linked your accounts and orgs. Although the budget feature is optional, most companies will find it very useful for comparing budgets to actuals on the financial statements.
Enter the organization for which you are entering budget information.
Select the fiscal year to which this budget will apply. The fiscal year must already be set up in the Fiscal Years screen.
Select the revision to which this budget will apply. The fiscal year and revision must already be set up in the Maintain Budget Revisions screen.
Using the Clone option in the File menu, you can copy the original budget to the new revision number, then modify the new revision to reflect the new requirements.

If appropriate, enter the total budgeted hours for the account for all periods within this fiscal year.
