Use this application to define export parameters for project information. The integration process will use these parameters to download this information from Costpoint into Deltek CRM/GovWin. General project information is established in the Maintain Project Master screen (Projects » Project Setup » Project Master) and the Basic Info screen (Projects » Project Setup » Project Master), where you can also assign an Owning Organization and Project Type to each project record.
In order to run this application, you must be licensed for the Deltek CRM/GovWin Integration add-on module.
Confirm that your project information exists correctly in the Maintain Project Master and Basic Info screens before using this screen.
Use this drop-down list to select the CRM/GovWin version for the current parameter record. Valid options are:
CRM/GovWin 4.1
CRM/GovWin 5.x
Select this check box to download basic project information from the Basic Info screen (Projects » Project Setup » Project Master). This check box is selected by default when you open this application.
Select this check box to download project association information from the Basic Info screen (Projects » Project Setup » Project Master). This check box is unselected by default when you open this application. Select this check box to enable the check boxes in the Project Associations group box in the Project Association Information subtask.
Select this check box to download contract information.
Select this check box to download contract modifications.
Select this check box to download contract inception-to-date amounts as reflected on Project Status Reports.
Select this check box to download government project information.
Select this check box to use the latest fiscal year and period processed as the through date.
Select this option to use actual indirect rates.
Select this option to use target indirect rates.
Use this group box to specify the project ID range that will be used by the interface process to select project information from Costpoint. Projects from the project ID range (that match the other selection criteria in this screen) will be selected for processing. Projects are established in the Maintain Project Master screen (Projects » Project Setup » Project Master) and the Basic Info screen (Projects » Project Setup » Project Master). If you select the All Range Option, all applicable project information will be included in the download.
Use this drop-down list to select the project ID range for the current parameter record. Valid options are:
All
One
Range
From Beginning
To End
Enter, or use to select, the starting (in the From field) and ending (in the To field) project IDs for the current parameter record. When you use Lookup in either field, you can choose from a list of existing project IDs in Costpoint.
Select this check box to create a customized, non-contiguous list of project IDs for the current parameter record. Begin by selecting the Range Option, and then populate the From and/or To fields. Once you complete your selection, apply it to the list box by clicking the Apply button. Repeat this process as many times as necessary so that you can specify the projects to be selected and processed. To remove one of the range selections, highlight it in the list box and click the Remove button. The order of the selections in the list box does not affect the interface process. If you clear the List Mode check box while the list box is populated, the system will display the following warning message: "Changing Range Option will clear the Selection List Box field. Continue?" Click Yes to clear the list box of its current contents. Click No to return to the main screen.
Click this button to add the selected project IDs in the From and/or To fields to the list box. The interface will use only the projects in the list box (and the other settings in this screen) to download project data from Costpoint into Deltek CRM/GovWin. This button is enabled only if you select the List Mode check box.
To remove one of the project selections, highlight it in the list box and click the Remove pushbutton.
Select this check box to include active projects in the download in accordance with the other settings in the parameter record.
Select this check box to include inactive projects in the download in accordance with the other settings in the parameter record.
Select this check box to include billable projects in the download in accordance with the other settings in the parameter record.
Select this check box to include non-billable projects in the download in accordance with the other settings in the parameter record.
Enter the starting project level for CRM/GovWin projects. Projects at this level and above will be flagged as available for CRM/GovWin users. Enter zero to flag all projects selected as NOT available for CRM/GovWin users.
Enter a numeric value that will determine the level at which projects will exist in Deltek CRM/GovWin based on the project's Level in the Maintain Project Master screen (Projects » Project Setup » Project Master) and the Basic Info screen (Projects » Project Setup » Project Master). Only project(s) at the specified level (and higher) in Costpoint will be selected for transfer to Deltek CRM/GovWin. For example, if you enter a "2" in this field, all projects at the top level (for example, project "100") and the next lowest-level (for example, project "100.10") will be downloaded, and will exist in Deltek CRM/GovWin as they currently appear in Costpoint. However, projects at the third and fourth level (for example, projects "100.10.2" and "100.10.2.10") will not be selected. Using this option will assign the Costpoint project ID to WBS1 in CRM/GovWin, up to the level you select.
Select this check box to use project-level mapping. Use project mapping to map specific segments of the Costpoint project ID to WBS1, WBS2, and WBS3.
Select this check box to use a default project-level mapping. By specifying a default project, you can set up a common-level mapping rule that can be used for some or all projects with a common structure for CRM/GovWin.
Enter the top-level project ID whose level mapping definition will be used as a default during the integration process. The process will use the default if the project being translated does not have a specific mapping defined.
Select this check box to include projects with active organization IDs in the download.
Select this check box to include projects with inactive organization IDs in the download.
Enter a numeric value that will determine the owning organization level at which organizations (assigned to projects) will exist in Deltek CRM/GovWin, based on the project's Owning Organization in the Maintain Project Master screen (Projects » Project Setup » Project Master) and the Basic Info screen (Projects » Project Setup » Project Master). The organization of the project(s) will be truncated to that level, if they are at a lower level in Costpoint. For example, if you enter a "2" in this field, all Owning Orgs at the top level (for example, owning org "4") and the next lowest-level (for example, owning org "4.1") will be downloaded, and will exist in Deltek CRM/GovWin as they currently appear in Costpoint. However, the owning org at the third and fourth level (for example, owning orgs "4.1.2" and "4.1.2.01"), will be truncated to the next highest level (for example, owning org "4.1"). The top level of an organization (and the lower-level segment lengths) is established in the Define Org Structures screen (Accounting » General Ledger » Organizations) and subsequent organization levels are assigned in the Maintain Org Elements screen (Accounting » General Ledger » Organizations).
Select this check box to use the reorganization structure to map owning orgs to the proper structure. Selecting this check box enables both the Exclude Top Level check box and Reorg field.
Select this check box to exclude the top level of the reorganization ID during this download. This may be necessary if you are already using Reorg in Costpoint and the length of the top-level reorg element is not correct for CRM/GovWin.
Enter the top-level reorganization ID whose mapping definition will be used during this download.
Select this check box to download project information that is new or has changed in Costpoint since the last time the interface process was run. Clear this check box to download all applicable project information in Costpoint, in accordance with this screen's settings, regardless of when the interface process was last run.
Click this button to access the Configure Project Options - Project Association Information subtask. This button is enabled when the Associations check box is selected.
Click this button to access the Configure Project Options - Project Selection Information subtask. This button is always enabled.
