Change the File Naming Convention for Downloaded Documents

You can change the file naming convention for documents that members download from a space. This applies to both single and multiple document downloads.

You must be an account administrator.

To change the file naming convention for downloaded documents:

  1. In the Navigation pane, click Accounts.
  2. Click the account that you want to manage.
  3. Click the Settings tab.
  4. On the Advanced Settings header, click .
  5. In the Document Download section, use the Download Naming Convention list to select the naming convention for downloaded documents.
    When you select an option, the example to the right of the list updates to show you how filenames appear when documents are downloaded.
  6. Click Save.
