The Pipeline Revenue Forecast Analytics enable you to spread pipeline amounts from the opportunities in your current pipeline over future months so you can view and analyze it as forecasted revenue.
Charts and TablesPipeline Revenue Forecast Spread — Displays the current pipeline as forecasted revenue for each month, quarter, or year in the analysis period. The stacked bars further break down the forecasted revenue by stage, probability range, or pipeline amount range. More... Pipeline Revenue Forecast by Attribute — Displays the forecasted revenue by opportunity attribute (project manager or opportunity type, for example) for each month, quarter, or year in the analysis period. Pipeline Revenue Forecast Exclusions — Displays the total amount of forecasted revenue for the analysis period and the total amount of the current pipeline that was not allocated because the opportunity records were missing revenue forecast start or end dates. More... Pipeline Revenue Forecast Detail — Displays forecasted revenue for the analysis period for individual opportunities, along with total pipeline and other opportunity data. Normally, only opportunities with forecasted revenue in the analysis period are included. However, if you have opportunities for which the dates needed to do the forecast are missing, they are displayed also, with 0 in the Forecasted Revenue column. More... |
How to...Specify the analysis period — Use the calendar year, quarter, and month controls across the top of the tab to change the analysis period reflected in the analytics. Filter by stage — Use the Stage list to filter the contents of the analytics by stage. When you display the analytics initially, they display amounts for all stages for which forecasted revenue exists. Select pipeline amount — Use the Pipeline Amount options to select the pipeline amount that you want to use for forecasting revenue and the Pipeline Probability Weighting options to indicate if you want to use unweighted or weighted pipeline amounts. Filter by opportunity attributes — Use the Additional Filters lists to filter the contents of the analytics by any combination of organization, principal, project manager, supervisor, client, source, and type. Filter by opportunity — Use the Opportunity list to filter the contents of the analytics by opportunity. When you display the analytics initially, they display amounts for all opportunities with forecasted revenue in the analysis period.
