KB #000008: Reorganize Report Items

Description: As you create and incorporate report items onsite using the mobile application, you may later be instructed to organize them by location, section, rooms, and category, among other criteria.

Unfortunately, there is no option available to rearrange the items

Cause: This option is not available on the mobile application.

Resolution: The said feature is available in the Web version. You can find it while editing a report in the Observations section. To do this:

1. Under the Observation column heading, click Reorder Items.
2. On the Reorder items page, drag and drop items accordingly.
3. Click Save order.

Note: Another option available on this page is Force a Renumbering. Clicking it enables you to initiate a complete renumbering for all the items on the page. Upon saving the order, they will be assigned sequential numbers (for instance, x.1, x.2, x.3, and so forth). Deltek strongly advises exercising caution when using this option, as the changes become irreversible once saved.
