KB #000009: Item Description and Report Dates Do Not Match

Description: The dates of your item descriptions do not match with your report date causing discrepancies on your reports.

Cause: You added the descriptions of the items after creating the report.

Resolution: You can modify whether you want description dates to display or set how the dates are being captured and displayed on your reports using the Web version of ArchiSnapper. To do this:

1. Select the Layout tab.
2. On the Report layouts page, select the current template you are using for the affected report and click Edit.
3. On the Report layout page, select the 2. Settings tab.
4. In the All Descriptions section, you can select the following options:
   • Show Creation Date for an Observation Description — Select this option to display the date when an observation description was created.
   • Display Report Date for Observation Description — Select this option to display the report date instead of date when observation description was created.

     If you do not select any option, no dates will display for the item descriptions in your reports.

5. Click Save order.
