Manage Projects Base

This base must be used as a child widget from a Project base or on a Project page.

Use this task widget to easily manage your project details such as reported percent complete, reported percent complete date, estimated start date, estimated completion date, actual start date, actual completion date, and notes on your dashboard and have those details updated to the Project Command Center. Any project custom fields from the Project Command Center will also be available. You can also manage a projects attachments with the Actions column.

This base includes additional fields that report project actuals based on activity entered against the project. Actuals are reported at the project, phase, invoice group, and billing group levels. Actuals are not reported at the resource level.

Use the Column Properties to control the editability of the available columns.

Required columns

The following are required columns on the Manage Projects widget and cannot be removed.

Example: You may sort the inquiry by resource order so it mirrors the order of the resources on the Manage tab.

You are required to have ONE of the following columns on the Manage Projects widget.

These fields are editable fields. To ensure a user can edit the below fields,

  1. Click on the column.
  2. In the Properties section for the column, select the Enable Editing check box.
