Date Roll Up on the Manage Projects Task Widget

On the Manage Projects task widget, you can roll estimated start dates, estimated completion dates, actual start dates, and actual completion dates up the project tree.

For the estimated start date and actual start dates,

• If the resource and phase dates are before the other dates farther up the project tree, those dates will be changed up the tree from resource to phase to project.
• If the phase date or project date is changed after the start date of the resource or phase under it, the dates lower down the project tree will be changed.

For the estimated completion date and actual completion dates,

• If the estimated completion date or actual completion date is entered after any of the dates up the project tree (the phase or project date), those dates will be changed up the project tree from resource to phase to project.
• If the phase date or project date is changed prior to the end date of the resource or phase level, the lower level dates will be changed.

Before you begin

• Ensure you have the Enable "Rollup Dates" button option selected in the widget properties.

To roll up dates on the Manage Projects task widget

1. On your dashboard, navigate to your Manage Projects widget.
2. Click the Rollup Dates button the widget toolbar.
3. Click Yes to confirm you want to roll the Estimated Start Date and Estimated Completion Dates or the Actual Start Date and Actual Completion Dates up the project tree.
