Designing Reporting Journal Entry Widgets

The journal entry and journal entry detail widgets are for reporting only. You cannot use them to create or edit journal entries.

To create a reporting journal entry widget

  1. Click > to open Design mode, and click the tab you want the journal entry widgets to be on.
  2. In the Tab Properties area, click Add Widget.
  3. Under Widget type > Reporting > Table, select Journal Entry.
  4. Select the columns you want on the widget.
  1. Click to save the widget.

To create a reporting journal entry detail widget

  1. Click > to open Design mode, and click the tab you want the journal entry widgets to be on.
  2. In the Tab Properties area, click Add Widget.
  3. Under Widget type > Reporting > Table, select Journal Entry Detail.
  4. Select the columns you want on the widget.
  1. Click to save the widget.
