Combining Client Records

You use the Combine Records utility to combine Client records, including attachments and contacts associated with the client.

You can combine more than one set of clients at the same time but you cannot select the same client on multiple rows.

This process might affect other users or applications trying to access the same records. Before you combine client records, you should:

  • Perform a backup on your database before running the process.

  • Running or scheduling the merge during non-business hours.

  • Ensure all users are logged out of Ajera.

  • Ensure all Click-Once tasks are closed.

This is a permanent change and cannot be undone.

To combine client records

  1. From the > Setup > Utility, click Combine Records.

  2. Click the Clients tab.

  3. In the From Client Name field, type or search for the client record you want to combine.

  4. In the To Client Name field, select the client you want to combine with the client from the From Client Name field.

  5. Click the Attachments check box to combine the attachments for the clients.

  6. Click the Contacts check box to combine the Contacts associated with the client.

  7. To combine the records, click Combine.

  1. Click Yes to confirm you want to combine the records

Note: This action cannot be undone.
