Deleting a department

You cannot delete a department if financial accounting detail is associated with that department, or if the department is currently used for a project or employee.

You can make a department inactive instead of deleting it.

To delete a department

1. From the > Setup menu, click Company > Financials > Departments.
2. Click the department you want to delete, and click the Delete button.
3. Click Yes to delete the department.
