Import Metrics File Dialog Box
After you select an .aft file type (Acumen metric file), select the folders that you want to import from and to. You can also import into a new folder.
When you import metrics, the changes that are made depend on whether you are importing new metrics into an existing or new folder, or existing metrics into an existing or new folder. For information about these changes, see What Happens When I Import a Metrics File?.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Select folders to import | Place a check next to each folder that you want to import. Place a check next to Folders in Import File to select all folders. Click on Folders in Import File to change the sort order between ascending and descending. |
Import into Folder | Use this drop-down to select an existing folder for the imported metrics. You can only import into a single folder. |
+ New Folder | Click to add a new folder for the imported metrics. |
Update existing variables | Select this option to update any existing variables when the import is performed. When this option is not selected, the import will add new variables but will not update any existing variables. The comparison of variables is not case-sensitive. For example, if you have an existing variable called "Duration Upper Limit" and you import a variable called, "DURATION UPPER LIMIT," Touchstone sees these as the same variable and will update the existing one if the Update existing variables option is selected. |
