  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Delete a Benchmark Attribute

Use these steps to delete a benchmark attribute from Touchstone.

When you delete a benchmark attribute, all values for that attribute are deleted from snapshot records and the associated benchmarks are deleted from all programs.

The data in the Benchmark Attributes grid on the Programs Overview tab is refreshed every time you display or refresh the view so when you delete a benchmark attribute, the change is seen the next time you view the Programs Overview tab.

To delete a benchmark attribute:

  1. In the Navigation pane, under Settings, click Benchmark Attributes. If you do not see this menu option, you may not have rights to it.
  2. In the Benchmark Attributes view, hover over the benchmark you want to delete.
    An X displays on the right side of the row.
  3. Click the X.
    A message displays asking you to confirm the deletion.
  4. Click Delete.
    The benchmark attribute is deleted and all values for the deleted attribute are deleted from snapshot records.
