  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Publish Group on the Metrics Tab

Use the publish menu group to publish activity metric definitions and metric groups to a data source.

This menu group only displays when the Metrics to Acumen Touchstone option on the Deltek Acumen Options Platforms (Deltek) page is selected.

Note: When importing cost data and publishing metric results to a Deltek data source, Acumen stores the CostProjectName value from a DCDE file in the ContrName field of the Contract table.

Metrics to a Deltek Data Source

You can export all activity metric definitions and groups that have the Publish Metric option selected on the Metrics tab to a database using the data source specified on the Deltek Acumen Options Platforms (Deltek) page. This is useful when you want to share the metrics with Deltek Acumen Touchstone.

Acumen saves the exported file in your Acumen folder under Database \ Definitions.

To use this feature, you must complete the following steps on the Deltek Acumen Options dialog box Platforms (Deltek) page:

  1. In order for Acumen to be able to publish metrics to a data source, you must define a valid data source. Click Manage Data Sources on the Platforms (Deltek) page to specify the data source that Acumen should use. See the Acumen Installation guide for more information about setting up a database for use with Acumen.
  2. Select Metrics to Acumen Touchstone on the Platforms (Deltek) page and use the drop-down list to specify which of the available data sources Acumen should use when publishing to the database.
