Update the Product Vector Database

If this is your first Ask Dela installation, you can skip this procedure. Use these steps only when you need to update the vector database for a supported product.

To update the product vector database:

  1. Download the product vector database from DSM. Make sure the vector database version matches the product version.
  2. Download both vector database files: Azure OpenAI and Ollama.
  3. In IIS, stop the application pool because the service is running.
  4. Unzip each file.
  5. Copy the extracted files to the appropriate product folder in the Ask Dela installation directory.
    For example, copy the Cobra vector database files to the following locations:

    Azure OpenAI:

    Cobra - C:\Program Files\Deltek\PPMDelaChat\Database\Deltek Cobra\Azure OpenAI

    Ollama:

    Cobra - C:\Program Files\Deltek\PPMDelaChat\Database\Deltek Cobra\Ollama

  6. After you copy the files, start the application pool.
