Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Spreadsheet Preferences (View Tab)

This command displays a tabbed dialog box that allows you to customize how the spreadsheet view or spreadsheet pane of a barchart view presents information.

You customize the barchart and histogram portions of the view separately.

To issue the Spreadsheet Preferences command, do one of the following:

  • Display a spreadsheet view and on the View tab, click Preferences from the Table group.
  • Display a barchart view and on the View tab, click Preferences from the Barchart group.
  • Right-click a spreadsheet view or the spreadsheet pane of a barchart view and click Preferences on the context menu.
