Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Set Resource Box Layout Options

Use the Resource Display Preferences dialog box to set your options for the resource box layout.

To set your options for the resource box layout:

  1. In Open Plan Explorer, display a resource file.
  2. Take one of the following actions:
    • In the Hierarchy menu group of the View tab, click Preferences.
    • Right-click an empty area of the workspace, and click Preferences on the shortcut menu.
  3. In the Resource Display Preferences dialog box, click the Box Layout tab.
  4. In the Field column, click a blank line, and select a field from the drop-down list above the grid.
  5. In the Line column, enter a line number to indicate where the field should display within the resource box.
    If you enter the same line number for more than one field, Open Plan displays the fields in the order shown in the list on the dialog box. You can use the change order buttons to move a data field to a higher or lower position in the list.
  6. In the Format column, select the number of lines that the field may wrap from the drop-down list above the grid.
  7. Continue entering fields until you have fully defined the contents of the resource box.
  8. Click OK.
