Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Edit a Relationship (Barchart)

Use this procedure to edit a relationship in the barchart view.

To edit a relationship from a barchart view:

  1. In the Project Views folder of Open Plan Explorer, select a project to display in barchart view.
  2. Ensure that you are in relationship mode.
  3. Position the cursor over the relationship line at either end of the line.
  4. When the cursor changes to a cross-hair, right-click the relationship line.
  5. On the shortcut menu, click Edit Relationship.
  6. In the Edit Relationship dialog box, enter the new information about the relationship.
  7. Click OK.
Note: You can also add, edit, and delete data for predecessors and successors directly in a cell of any activity-based spreadsheets. The Activity Predecessors and Activity Successors columns display the predecessor/successor ID, relationship type, and lag of the relationship (which is optional and may be negative) in each cell using the format <Predecessor/Successor ID><space><relationship type><+/-Lag>. For example, 1.02 SF+3d.
