Display a Semi Time-Phased Network View

Use this procedure to display a semi time-phased network view.

To display a semi time-phased network view:

1. In the Project Views folder of Open Plan Explorer, select a project to display in network view.
2. Take one of the following actions:
   • In the Network menu group of the View tab, click Placements.
   • Press Shift+P.
3. In the Placements dialog box, click Automatic for the placements method.
4. Select the Time Scale Project option.
5. Click Time Scale.
6. In the Scaling Specification dialog box, set the appropriate options for the date scale.
   Open Plan always displays the activity boxes in the order dictated by the project logic. Therefore, a successor activity is never placed to the left of its predecessor even if it has an earlier start date due to negative lag.
7. Click OK to return to the Placements dialog box.
8. Click OK to return to the network view.
