Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Defining an Activity as Effort-Driven

Use this procedure to define an activity as effort-driven.

To define an activity as effort-driven:

  1. Take one of the following actions to display the Activity Details dialog box:
    • Double-click the appropriate activity.
    • Right-click the appropriate activity, and click Edit Activity on the shortcut menu.
    • Select the appropriate activity, and click Details in the Dialogs menu group of the Edit tab.
  2. From the Type list on the General tab, select Effort Driven.
  3. Click Apply.
  4. When Open Plan asks you to confirm the operation, click OK.
