Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Oracle Primavera P6 Export Wizard

Use the Oracle Primavera Export Wizard to export to an XER file or to a P6 web environment.

The Export Oracle Primavera command on the Integration tab is disabled until you open the Open Plan project that you want to export.

Attention: Before you begin, review the information in Exporting Data to Primavera P6 and Best Practices for Importing/Exporting Data To/From P6.

The Oracle Primavera Export Wizard includes the following pages:

  • Export Type and Method Page: Use this page to select whether to export to an XER file or P6 web.
  • Project Page: Use this page to save the project you are exporting to either an XER file or P6 web project.
  • Options Page: Use this page to set the options that Open Plan will use when exporting the project.
  • Export Complete Page: This page displays at the end of the wizard and lets you know whether the export completed successfully, completed with errors, or was aborted.
Note: For web exports, the project must have been previously imported into Open Plan from P6 web and must be open in Open Plan at the time of the export. The Oracle Primavera export icon is disabled until a project is opened in Open Plan.

Buttons

The table below provides information about the buttons that display at the bottom of each page.

Button Description
Back This button is disabled since this is the first page of the wizard.
Next Click this button to display the next page of the wizard.
Cancel Click this button to cancel the export process.
Help Click this button to display the Open Plan help file.
