Move Activities Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to move activities from one external subproject to another, or from an external project to a master project.

You typically need to do this when activities have changed or you have additional planners and need to split up the work. Moving activities maintains relationships from the activities you move to other activities.

You can move activities when all of the following are true:

• The activity table is the driving table for the view.
• The master project contains one or more open external subprojects.
• The master project and its external subprojects are open in Exclusive mode or you (the current user) have used a shared-mode lock.
