  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Export CAM Estimate to Complete (ETC) Baseline Data

Use this procedure to export CAM time-phased Estimate to Complete (ETC) baseline data for each CAM listed in your Open Plan project to Excel.

It creates one XLSX file for each set of activities that is associated with a single CAM value, which usually comes from a user-defined text field or a code filed in Open Plan.

Note: You can perform CAM export only when there is an open and active project with baselines. In addition, there must be a reporting calendar assigned to the project.

To export CAM ETC baseline data:

  1. Open a project with available baselines.
    Note: Make sure a reporting calendar is assigned to the project you are exporting.
  2. With the project in focus, select the Integration tab.
  3. On the Integration tab, in the Export group, select CAM ETC.
  4. From the ETC Baseline drop-down list, select the ETC baseline to export.
    Note: If there is a baseline selected in Open Plan, it displays the selected baseline by default. For multiple baselines, it displays the first baseline in the selected baselines.
  5. From the CAM Field drop-down list, select the text or code field with the assigned value to which you want to update baseline data.
  6. Click the Select Folder to Save to button to select where you want to save the exported file.
  7. Click Export.

The exported XLSX file has the format <Project Name> <CAM Value> <Today’s Date as “ddMMMyyyy”>.xlsx (for example, CLEAN ELEC 30Sept2021.xlsx), overwriting the previous exported file. The XLSX file contains baseline activities and baseline usage records that you can edit.

The CAM Value must not contain special characters that are not allowed in a Windows file name (/ \ : * ? " < >  |). If it does, Open Plan replaces them with "_".

Note: You can update only the cells that displayed in light gray and columns that fall within the range of the baseline activity’s dates. In addition, when you change the values in the editable baseline usage cells, Open Plan updates the corresponding Total cell.
