Contents of the Open Plan Window

Use the fields and options to configure the Open Plan window.

Field	Description
File Menu	The File menu provides commands related to file management, such as Open, Save, Print, Share, Change Password, and so on.
Quick Access Toolbar	The Quick Access Toolbar displays the most commonly used commands.
Command Tabs	The Command tabs include the most commonly used commands in Open Plan.
Command Icons	The Command icons display different command icons that can trigger or perform an operation.
Menu Group	The Menu group contains different commands for related features and functions.
View Tabs	The View tabs enable you to switch between views that are currently open.
Open a View Drop-down Menu	The Open a View drop-down menu contains a list of available views for the selected project. You can also use the drop-down menu to open a project.
Hierarchical Pane	The Hierarchical pane displays the folders available to you. Each folder contains other folders or Open Plan objects such as projects and views.
Status Bar	The Status bar displays information such as the filters applied, the users currently logged in, the baselines in use, the data sources, the current project status, and so on.
Contents Pane	The Contents pane displays the contents of the folder selected in the hierarchical pane.
Minimize the Ribbon	The Minimize the Ribbon button minimizes the command icons and menu groups. You can also press CTRL+F1 to minimize these views.
Submenus	Some command icons have an arrow next to their name. This indicates that there is a submenu. Click on the arrow to view the submenu.
