Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Allowances Worksheet (2019 W-4) Tab

Use the Personal Allowances Worksheet to figure your withholding allowances.

This worksheet will assist you in calculating the number of withholding allowances that you are entitled to claim. Select each check box that applies and complete each appropriate edit box accordingly. The system uses your entries to calculate the Total Number of Allowances. Click the Calculate Allowances button; the calculated amount will be used in the Total Allowance field in the Current Federal Withholding Information table. If you do not wish to keep the calculated total, select the Cancel button and return to the Current Federal Withholding Information table (without keeping the information from the Personal Allowances Worksheet).
