Medical Insurance Tab
Use the Medical tab to view and select your medical insurance options.
You can access this tab on the Benefits Enrollment screen or the Life Events/New Hires screen.
If you access this tab from the Benefits Enrollment screen, it will display your current coverage and your new coverage. These amounts are broken out by pay frequency with a link to the selected plan information. You cannot access this screen from the main menu.
Medical Benefits
This table displays your current medical insurance coverage.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Current Plan |
This field displays your current medical election. |
Coverage Level |
This field displays your current level of coverage (for example, "Employee," "Employee + 1," "Family,"). |
<Frequency> |
This field displays your current premium amount, based on the (current) pay frequency ("Monthly," "Semi-Monthly," "Bi-Weekly," or "Weekly"). |
Current Plan Information |
Click to display your plan information if available. If the plan information is not available, “N/A” displays in the field. |
High Ded Plan |
This check box indicates if the health plan is flagged as a high-deductible health plan. Only a designated high-deductible health plan can be elected with a health savings account (HSA). |
Current Start Date | This field the start date of your current coverage. |
Primary Care Physician Name | This field displays the name of your physician. |
Physician # | This field displays the contact number of your physician. |

Select Dependents for Coverage | Click this link to cover your dependents under your medical plan. |
Select New Coverage Level | Click this link to select a new medical election from the list of plans that are set up in the system. |
Medical Plan Copay | Click this link to view the Medical Plan Copay table information. |
