Use the fields and options to configure the Manage Countries screen.

Field | Description |

Country Code |
This field displays the ID code for this country. You can click on the toolbar to add a new code that identifies a particular country. You can then use this field to enter a country code for this new country. |
Country Name |
Use this field to enter a descriptive name for this Country Code. |
Select this check box to include the country on addresses that appear on printable reports. |

Mag Media Code |
Use this field to enter the tax file code for this country before running the Federal or State mag media files. Alternatively, you can enter the codes on the Update Tax File Country Code screen. Note: A two-digit Country Code is required for reporting W-2s on magnetic media when the company and/or employees are located outside of the 50 states, DC, a Military Post Office, American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. You can find country codes in the Social Security Administration's Magnetic Media Reporting and Electronic Filing instructions.

Locale |
Use this field to enter, or click to select, the locale to use for this country code. Note: You must first establish report locales using the Manage Report Locales Screen before you use this field.

ISO2 Code |
Enter the 2-character ISO code to identify the country. This value is used when you transfer labor location address and employee address information to SilkRoad. |
ISO3 Code |
Enter the 3-character ISO code for the country. This value is used when you transfer labor location address and employee address information to SilkRoad. |
NATO |
Select this check box indicate that the Country is member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). This NATO check box value displays on the Manage Employee Information screen when you assign a Country to an employee. |
